Dear Parents,
I wanted to make you aware of an invitation to you (see below), by the Staff and Parent Council of St. Teresa of Calcutta, to an important presentation about the well-being of children and the effects of social media. I have had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Way Skinner speak on several occasions. He is excellent; both funny and moving in his presentations. You would really enjoy it. Please do yourself a favour and attend this free presentation.

St. Teresa of Calcutta Staff and Parent Council would like to invite you to an informative evening focusing on kids and the impact of social media on the developing brain. Michael Way Skinner, Faith Ambassador with the York Catholic District School Board, will be presenting "So Help, Me God: Being Catholic Parents in Trying Times". The presentation will focus on the role of faith in the social, moral and mental well-being of students as it relates to social media as well as the positive impact of faith and vision on brain development.
The presentation, free of charge, will take place in the gym on Thursday, June 7th from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
