First Day of School

The first day of school is Tuesday September 4th, 2018. Classes begin at 8:45. On the first day of school, we will post class lists with grades on the outer doors. Students should look for the grade that they are in and then find their name on the appropriate list. Teachers will be outside to assist any students that are in need of assistance. Please note, these lists are subject to change depending on enrolment this week.
For the first day only, parents/guardians are allowed in the backyard to help their child(ren) find their class and teacher. Beginning Wednesday, parents must drop their child(ren) off at the gate. This is for the safety of all of our students. Kindergarten students may be dropped off at the kindergarten yard, the south-west side of the school (off of the parking lot). Supervision in the backyard begins at 8:30. Please do not drop your child off before this, as there is no supervision.
Parents are also reminded not to park before school and at the end of the day on the bus lane. There is a designated sidewalk that has been painted to allow our many walkers a safe path to enter and exit the school.
