Dear Parents,
It was great to see so many families come out to our performances of Beauty and The Beast last week. Many thanks to Mr. Clayton, Mrs. Benoit and Mrs. Fernandes for working with the students and helping with the props and costumes. As well, thanks to the classroom teachers who supported the production in so many different ways. To the performers, congratulations for an amazing set of performances! Such talented children who shared their gifts with such excellence. Way to go Bobcats!
This is the Holy week and we keep in our mind the sacrifice that Jesus is walking towards. Even though he is telling his disciples, they are not fully cognizant of what this means for them, or for Jesus the man. Just as with us when we worry, Jesus was filled with worry and anxiety about what was coming, but still he kept his faith and trust in our Father. As we end our season of Lent with the final part of the journey to the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord, we keep in mind our families, the families of our students, and of our teachers. God Bless you all this Easter.
