We Are Growing

Dear Parents,
Some of you may know that we had a family in our school community whose home and possessions were completely destroyed in a fire. Luckily none of the family were hurt, but they have lost all but the clothes on their backs. In conversations with the family, the community has been very supportive and items of clothing, food and essential needs have been graciously offered by local agencies, the parish, the schools and the good citizens of Bradford. The next step to getting their lives back, is finding a new place to live. They have found a potential place and the family is trying to arrange the first and last month's rent. Our school community has always been giving to those in need. If you find you are able to contribute any funds to help, I am sure the family would be most grateful for your kindness. Only if you can, please send a contribution in with your child by Thursday of this week. Please clearly mark the contribution as "Family Help." We will add any contributions to those collected by the staff and make sure the family receives it. Thank you on their behalf for your generosity.
There are no major events planned for this week as we work towards improving our class numbers and structure. Please see the attached letter that will also be sent to all families tomorrow.
