Dear Parents,
This is an exciting week.  We are celebrating the great game of Soccer by celebrating the FIFA World Cup this week.  Students and staff are encouraged to wear the jersey of their favourite, country, team, or player, local to international, any and all days of the week.  (Of course, because my wife is from Brasil,  I will be supporting that team.)  Even so, all jerseys are welcome!

Congratulations to our Gr. 8 students who will be celebrating their end to elementary education with their graduation this coming Friday.  Graduation mass is at 5:30 at Holy Martyrs of Japan, Friday June 22, 2018.  Grad Ceremony of follow in the parish hall.

A big thank you to all of our school volunteers throughout the year, drivers, class helpers, coaches, parent council, Rosary Apostolate, trip supervisors, breakfast club, hot lunch and many more.  We would like to celebrate you at our Volunteer Breakfast this Thursday morning at 8 AM.  Thank you for all that your do here at SJB!!

St. Teresa of Calcutta Staff and Parent Council would like to invite you to an informative evening focusing on kids and the impact of social media on the developing brain.  Michael Way Skinner, Faith Ambassador with the York Catholic District School Board, will be presenting "So Help, Me God: Being Catholic Parents in Trying Times".  The presentation will focus on the role of faith in the social, moral and mental well-being of students as it relates to social media as well as the positive impact of faith and vision on brain development.
