Dear Families,
There are a few items to share with you this week and some information to share for the upcoming week.

1. We ask that student information forms be returned to their teachers as soon as you can.  Having the up to date information is very helpful.
2. If your phone number or contact information for emergency contacts have changed in any way, please contact Mrs. Ciarafoni at the office (905-775-8460) and update that.  We have already encountered some families whose contact info is out of date.
3. We know that some families want their children to have cell phones for emergencies.  We ask that the children have them turned off and away during the school day so that teacher instruction and student learning are not interrupted.  Phones are not necessary for students in the classroom. If parents need to contact their child, you can do so by contacting the office.  Likewise if a student needs to contact their parent, they can do so through the office.  This allows us to be aware of any plans that may affect our safe arrival protocols.
4. Parents of Gr. 1 to 8 please review the school information pages at the beginning section of your child's agenda with your children.  It has all of the information around student expectations and policy.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the school.
5. Wed Sept. 21 - Hot lunch orders are due into the office
6. Tue. Sept. 27 - School mass at Holy Martyrs of Japan @ 10:00 AM
       - First Communion Information Meeting at Holy Martyrs @ 7 PM.  At least one                               parent must attend, please bring a copy of your child's baptismal certificate.
7. Wed. Sept. 28 - Open House - Meet the Teacher. 5:30 to 7 PM
8. Fri. Sept. 30 - PA day - no school for students.
9. Oct. 4 and Oct. 6 - Confirmation information meeting at the church 7PM both nights.                                               Parent and child must attend one of these information meetings.

Yours in Faith
J. Murphy
