Dear Parents,
Bus cancellation days can definitely be an inconvenience. On "Snow Days," the schools are open for student learning. For attendance purposes on those days, bus students are automatically marked as being absent due to the weather, unless they are brought in by their parents, so it is not necessary for you to phone in bus student absences; they are assumed. If your child is not a bus student, and it is a "snow day", our Safe Arrival protocol requires us to phone every household that has not contacted the school to report their child's absence. It would be most helpful if parents of "Non-bus students" would contact the school either by phone or through the link on our web page so that we can account for all students through the Safe Arrival Program. Thank you for helping us keep all our students safe.
