Dear Parents,
We are in for some sun this week.
Hey Parents, do you remember walking or biking to school when you were a kid?  The town of Bradford is coordinating the Walk and Wheels event this coming Wednesday May 10.  They are encouraging the children of Bradford to become more active by walking or wheeling themselves to school.  For the students who take the bus, they can make sure they walk to the bus!  It is an effort that has most of the schools in Bradford participating.  Not only is it a healthier mode of transportation to school, it uses less gasoline and can significantly reduce the number of vehicles on the roads in front of the school.  If you are still feeling it necessary to drive your child to school, perhaps parking a block away from the school and walking the rest would be a good idea.  Some members of the town offices will be at school to hand out ribbons and register the participants.  It is a great way to get active everyday.  We are looking forward to great participation in the event this week.
Yours in faith,
J. Murphy
