Principal's Message

Hello my name is Jennifer Jeffries and I am honoured to be welcomed back into the St. Jean de Brébeuf Catholic School family. I spent my first 16 years teaching at SJB and am happy to return home as the school’s Principal.

I have been teaching for over 20 years with the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board. The highlight of my career was in the role of Special Education Resource Teacher, where I developed a passion for accommodating and engaging learners. I am inspired and ready to work alongside the staff and families of this beautiful community. My husband and I have 2 boys and understand that as parents we send our best work, our children to Catholic Schools, entrusting them in their care. We want our children to be kind, be themselves and belong.

Your child is in good hands. Amazing things are happening here at St. Jean de Brébeuf! Come see for yourself as you are warmly welcomed to visit with our dedicated staff and experience an engaging learning environment. This community has a long and proud tradition of providing students with a quality education, guided by Catholic values. Its’ practices, images and people are familiar, warm and have high expectations for academics, moral behaviour and social justice.

My goal as Principal is to develop the God-given abilities of each staff member, child and family. I truly believe Catholic schools transform communities which in turn transform countries. As the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board vision statement says "we are working to transform our world".

Yours in Catholic Education,

Mrs. Jeffries

Principal
